He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Edward Haberkorn.
He is survived by his seven siblings, Margaret (Richard) Darrah, Thomas (Dagmar) Haberkorn, Betty Haberkorn, Vincent (Addie) Haberkorn, Killian (Deb) Haberkorn, Norman (Heidi) Haberkorn and Michael Haberkorn; Sister-in-law, Joyce Haberkorn; 14 Nieces and Nephews and a large extended family.
Greg was the 5th child born to Killian and Margret Haberkorn on May 20, 1955.
As a child he attended St. John's Catholic School and later graduated from Cathedral High School. Childhood was spent with his brother's playing sports in the front yard and trips to the farm in Kansas and baseball in summer. Growing up Greg played football and wrestled, but what he was known for was his artistic abilities.
In his later years Greg enjoyed reading and music and kept up with current events. Of course as a Denver native he enjoyed the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos, but enjoyed watching all sports. Greg was a quiet natured soul, he was a brother and friend that will be dearly missed.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
