Born September 15, 1932 in Rome, Wisconsin to Tom and Beatrice Applebee, Clara grew up in Tonasket, WA.
Clara retired from the Boeing Company after 30 years. She spent her retirement RVing, trips to Jackpot, Nevada, gardening, as a volunteer with Providence Hospital and spending time with her family. She took great pride in her service to the Granite Falls American Legion Auxiliary, the Eight and Forty and the Granite Falls Eagles.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Bob McKee, in 2001.
Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, March 20, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home Marysville, WA.
Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, March 21, at Granite Falls American Legion Cemetery with potluck gathering to follow at Granite Falls American Legion Hall.
