Obituary: RICHARD CALVIN ORR, 84, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. He was born in rural Conway Springs, Kansas to John Calvin Orr and Neva Maude (Stinson) Orr. He lived much of his childhood in Wichita but enjoyed living with his grandparents for short periods in Conway Springs. He was a 1951 graduate of Conway Springs High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1954, serving his country for three years. He worked at Boeing Aircraft for a brief time before going to work in 1960 for White Star Machinery of Wichita where he was employed for nearly 30 years. He served his Lord and Savior as pastor at True Church of the First Born in Wichita since 1979.
