Drucilla Emma Field (nee Allingham)

February 28, 1922 - June 8, 2013


It is with great sadness that the family of Drucilla Emma Field announces her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, June 8th, 2013, at the age of 91 years.


Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Shirley Parlee (Murray), Donald (Barbara), & Kevin (Yvonne); her grandchildren: Shawn Croucher (Sherry), Lynn Edwards (Keith), Paul Field (Monique), Michelle Martin (Joel), Stephanie Owens (Bruce), Danette McDonald (Mario), & Todd Field (Sherry); her 13 great grandchildren, her siblings; Basil (Irene), Horace, Edgar (Elsie), Stedman (Marjorie) Llewellyn (Thelma), Olive Saunders, Grace Cole, Alma Stryde, Triffie (Ernest) Rogers, Laverne (Ralph) Colbourne,& June (Ralph) Drover.


Mother was predeceased by her parents William & Gladys Allingham; her husband Frank Field; her companion Harvey Penney; her brother Thomas; her son-in-law; Victor Croucher; her brothers-in-law Fred Saunders, Harold Cole, & Gilbert Stryde; sister-in-law Hazel.


The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake on Sunday, June 9th, 2013 from the hours of 7 - 9 pm and then St. Matthews Anglican Church in Cook's Hr, NL on Monday, June 10th, 2013 from the hours of 7 - 9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, June 11th, 2013, at 2:pm, with Rev. Diane Smith officiating. The burial to follow at the church cemetery in Wild Bight.


In lieu of flowers, donations made in Mother's memory to St. Matthew's Anglican Church would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
