SPRING, TX – Barbara Ellen Elizabeth Hudson Ishmael was born January 6, 1936 and passed away on April 28, 2017 at the age of 81 years.
Barbara met her husband Finis in Fort Worth TX and later moved her family to Houston TX. She was a Jehovah Witness and attended the Kingdom Hall. She was a house wife. She loved her children and her grandchildren. She had a dog named Tiny that she absolutely adored and even considered it as one of her children. She would take Tiny everywhere that she could. She babied Tiny so much that some of us thought she loved Tiny more than anything else. Her children knew her as Mom but to everyone else she was Memmaw. She lived in her apartment complex for 12 years. Her neighbors loved be but they called her Trouble. Barbara was a feisty old woman. She had this big beautiful smile that always made you smile back at her but when she wanted to she would give you this look that you just knew you was in trouble and you probably should run. She always had these playful comebacks or comments that let you know you place. Like "I wouldn't want that tongue in my mouth either." She was a collector. She was always the easiest to buy a present for just get her a Stuffed Animals or crazy Saltand Pepper Shakers it never fails it would just make her so happy that she would smile from ear to ear. She loved to collect things and organize them neatly throughout her apartment or on her bed. We never knew how she found room to sleep on her bed. Most of all she was loved by so many because she was truly sweet and easy to get along with. She will truly be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.

She survived by: six children Pamela Lirette and husband Milton, Dudley Ishmael and wife Loreda, Rhonda Ishmael, Donna Zelaya and husband Carlos, Sharon Wisnowski and husband Butch, Alicia Wisnowski and husband Chip, and 27 Grandchildren, Numerous Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild.
