Roland F. Adkins
Mr. Roland Frederick Adkins, formerly of Baltimore and more recently a resident of Moosehaven Home, Orange Park, Florida, died there Tuesday evening. His wife, Mrs. Mildred R. Solt Adkins, predeceased him in 1969. He was born in Virginia on December 19, 1902 and was the son of the late John G. and Delia A. Bailey Adkins. He is the last of his immediate family and is survived by several cousins. Mr. Adkins was the Educational Advisor at the Maryland House of Correction at Jessup and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose No. 371.
Friends may call at the M.R. Etchison and Son Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, today from 7 to 9PM. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home Friday at 10:30AM with the Rev. Harry S. Myerly, Assistant Pastor of Calvary United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
