Funeral services for C.W. Belcher, 86, of Coushatta, LA will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, December 12, 2022 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Fort officiating. Interment will follow in Springville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the funeral home.

Mr. Belcher was born November 6, 1936 in Shreveport, LA and passed away December 7, 2022. C. W. was physically active throughout his life. He had a passion for running, bicycling, and playing tennis. One would often times see him running on his lunch break or bicycling early mornings. He received his MBA from Louisiana State University in 1960 and served in the United States Marine Corp. C.W. owned and managed Piggy Wiggly for over 30 years. With a heart of gold, C.W. never let anyone go without; he would often tell those in need to fill up their buggy and everything else was taken care of. He was a member of the Silent Brotherhood Lodge No. 146 F. & A.M. where he served in many capacities. C. W. was instrumental in founding Riverdale Academy where he served as president of the board for many years. C.W.'s greatest love was for his grandchildren. He loved to follow them whether it was traveling around the country to horse shows or spending time in Ruston. He was a huge mentor in their lives. He was dearly loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mary Belcher; son, Ken Belcher; son-in-law, Timothy Ferrier; and grandson, Josh Belcher.

Mr. Belcher is survived by his wife, Bobbi Belcher of Coushatta, LA; two daughters, Lisa Ferrier of Coushatta, LA and Beth Roberson and husband Brad of Ruston, LA; grandchildren: Jacob Roberson, Jonah Roberson and fiancee' Anne Bishop, and Jolee Roberson; daughter-in-law, Lisa Belcher of Shreveport, LA; sister, Hazel Coffey of Coushatta, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kris Pickett, Denny Bass, Ron Green, Kaden McNeely, Kevin Cook, Jason Davis, and Joey Pickett. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Salley, Larry Shaw, Ardis Almond, Dean Walters, Tommy Glen Jones, and Michael Shagun.
