A Memorial service will be held Saturday November 19, 2022, 1:00 pm at Southern Palms Memorial Garden in North Myrtle Beach, SC;. Gary was a 1980 Graduate of Eastern Randolph High School in Ramseur, NC. He was the owner and operator of Chester Furniture in Chester, VA; for 37 years. As a single Parent, Gary devoted his life to his 3 children. And carried that love over to his 3 Grandsons.
Gary was a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend to so many. He was always willing to give a helping hand to family members and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his Parents Clarence K. and Dorothy F. (Snoddy) Wright, Brothers, Bill, Keith, and Craig Wright.
Survivors: daughter, Blair Elizabeth Wright of the home, sons Cameron David Wright of the home, and William Edward Wright of Chester, Va. Grandsons, Miles Wright, Lucas Wright and Hayden Wright. Sisters, Debbie Burgess (Phil) of Ramseur, NC, Jane Burgess (Mike) of Siler City, NC, Jeannie Ferguson (Garland) of North Myrtle Beach, SC. Brothers, Jeff Wright of Liberty, NC, Eddie Wright (Rose) of Ramseur, NC, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
