Mr. Davis was born Oct. 26, 1891, in Salisbury community, the son of Morris and Lucy Davis. He married Anna Miller on Oct. 5, 1912. He was engaged in farming near Springfield his entire life. He belonged to the Salisbury Baptist church.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Echard, Divernon; Mrs. Lois Buescher, Columbus, Ga., and Mrs. Margaret Ball, Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Spratt, Springfield, and Mrs. Nelle McGillen, Waverly; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Remains are at Hensley funeral home, Pleasant Plains.

DAVIS - Remains of Harry L. Davis, of R. R. 2, Springfield, were removed at 11 a.m. Saturday from Hensley funeral home, Pleasant Plains, to the residence, where friends may call. Brief services will be held at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the residence, followed by services at 2:30 p.m. at Auburn Baptist church, Rev. Vernon L. Shontz of Springfield, and Rev. Norval Richardson, of Auburn, officiating. Burial in Auburn cemetery.
