Kenneth W. Anderson , 50, of Reynold Street, Plymouth, died Tuesday May 16, 1995 in Mercy Hospital, Scranton. Born Dec. 5, 1944 in Wichita, Texas, he was the son of Adeline Walton Bognetz of Catawissa.
He was a member of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church in Plymouth and Plymouth Hose Co. No. 1. He had lived in Plymouth for the past 25 years. He was self-employed as a forestry manager and was also a former employee of the Pennsylvania Gas & Water Co. He was an adjunct professor of forestry at Wilkes University. He was a member of the Tubs Council and was director of the Luzerne County Conservation District.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, the former Joyce Balleck; daughters, Amy Beth, Philadelphia; Sheri Ann, at home; brother, George Shepperson, Catawissa; sister, Laverne Shepperson Lang, Catawissa; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Joseph B. Badman Funeral Home, 247 E. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Donald R. Gilmore, pastor of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
