Mrs. Vera Lou Potter- Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Lou Potter, 54, who died at 6 p.m. Wednesday at her home, 302 Murray Street, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in Turrentine-Jackson Chapel, Rev. H. H. Peters officiating. Interment will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park. She was born December 27, 1915 in Titus County, the daughter of Howard and Sarah Wilson Stiles, and had resided in Collin County for 25 years. She was employed at Haggar Pants Manufacturing Co., and was of Baptist faith. She married Herman Potter September 19, 1932 in Mount Vernon who survives with a son, Bennie Potter of Gainesville; daughter, Mrs. Ted Baugh of Richardson and the following brothers and sisters, Denison Stiles, Sulphur Springs; Ennis and Charles Ray Stiles of Plano; Mrs. Boyd Reynolds of McKinney; Mrs. Ed Stiles of Lubbock and several nieces and nephews.
