Mrs. Olsen died at 10 p.m. Saturday at Schumpert Medical Center after a brief illness.
A native of Gloster, she had lived in Shreveport 21 years and was a retired school teacher. She had taught in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Washington, Florida, Idaho and was an instructor at Molar Beauty College in Chicago. Mrs. Olsen was active in the Naomi Sunday school class at Broadmoor Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sisters, Mrs. Zelma Clark of Gloster and Mrs. C. L. Perry of Shreveport; and a brother, Robert Harold Smith of Gloster.
