ATLANTA, Texas - Enos Raymond Presley, 87, of Atlanta died Sunday, April 10, 2005, in Shreveport, La.
Mr. Presley was born Oct. 9, 1917, in Delight, Ark. He was retired from Reliable Life Insurance Co., employee of Hanner Funeral Service, an original officer, deacon, elder and member of Atlanta Church of Christ and a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Presley of Atlanta; one son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Gloria Presley of Shreveport; one daughter, Martha "Marty" Ethridge of Hallsville, Texas; one sister, Nettie Beene of Arkadelphia, Ark.; and two grandchildren, Chris Strickland of Asheville, N.C., and Kathleen Strickland of Denton, Texas.
Services were held Wed at Atlanta Church of Christ with Tom Hooten officiating. Burial was in Pine Crest Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
