Anna Marie Burke Barry was the daughter of John Murphy Burke and Mary A. Challender. She was born in New Jersey and was a lifetime resident of the Burlington County area. She married James Thomas Barry on February 10, 1923. Anna and Jim had one child, a son, John Burke Barry, born on January 31, 1929. Their son John Burke Barry and his wife Elaine Burnham Barry had five children: Virgina Anne, Catherine Marie, James Thomas II, Diana Mary, and Nancy Louise. Anna was a wonderful person who adored her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren as well as her sisters, cousins, and their families. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed her 5 grandchildren with all her heart. She worked as a cook for the Bell Telephone Company in Mount Holly, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Parish in Mount Holly. Anna is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hainesport with her husband James Thomas Barry, her mother-in-law Ellen Boylan Barry, her father-in-law Thomas Barry, and her daughter-in-law Elaine Burnham Barry.
