On April 29, 1967, he married Jodi Irelan at Fort Leavenworth, she survives at the home. He is also survived by his children, T.A. Becker III, Tina (Wyatt Segrist) Becker and Joe (Michelle) Becker all of Leavenworth; three grandchildren, Joseph, Tannim and Sean; and a sister Linda Becker.
Ted served in the U.S. Navy. After discharge he worked as a Barber for a few years and then accepted a job at Fort Leavenworth. He retired from Fort Leavenworth after 25 years of service.
Inurnment with Navy honors will be 10 am Friday, August 3, 2007, at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Children's Mercy Hospital for Diabetes research (Endocrine Clinic)
