Daughter of George Washington Neff and his wife Elizabeth Ellen Bailey. Hettie was the second wife of Benjamin William Alexander. Married 10 June 1903, at about the age of 36, Hettie had no children of her own. Survivors included her husband; two step-sons, Harvey of Sprague, Washington, and H. Wayne of Tacoma, Washington; her brother, Frank Neff of Browning, Missouri, and her sister, Mrs. Alice Cutberth of St. Joseph, Missouri.
