Lorna Ida Allgood, 77, of Crescent, Utah passed away Thursday, January 16, 1992, after an extended illness.
She was born October 7, 1914, in Crescent, to Stanley Thomas and Ellen Nora Dahl Allgood. She was a lifetime resident of Crescent. She worked as a community reporter for the Midvale Sentinel for many years. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Lorna served in the YWMIA as a Beehive leader and attendance secretary. She was a visiting teacher supervisor and enjoyed the Special Interest Group. Lorna was loved and admired by all that knew her. She spent many happy hours playing with and caring for her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Emily and Gordan Drake, West Jordan; Selma and Theron Olsen, Crescent. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Elsie and Ruth.
Funeral services Monday, January 20, 1992, 11 a.m., in the Crescent 16th LDS Ward Chapel, 251 East 10600 South. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Crescent Cemetery.
