Mrs. Geneva Towell Weaner, 71, of 1305 Forest Park Terrace, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at her home.
Born March 6, 1928 in Iredell County, she was a daughter of the late William Navy Towell and Etta Jane Hobbs Towell.
She was a member and served as secretary-treasurer of Briston Drive Baptist Church for over 30 years.
She was retired from Bali.
Her husband, Mr. Joseph T. Weaner, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Sybil Rinehardt of Clemmons; two grandchildren, Joseph Rinehardt of Clemmons, and Jennifer
Rinehardt of Charlotte; and one great-grandson, Jeffrey Ireland of Clemmons. Also surviving are two sisters, Peggy Jane
Orbison of Mooresville and Billie J. MacDowell of Texas.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000, at Briston Drive Baptist Church, with Rev. Frankie Bass
officiating. Burial will follow in the South River Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Monday evening, Feb. 7, 2000, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
