Completed his earthly mission at age 79 at his home in Delta after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Beaver, Utah. Son of Frank White and Alice Gale Farnsworth. Early years spend on the family farm in Beaver. Loved to hunt and fish. Served a Southern California mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Continued his education at Southern Utah University in Cedar City. Married Norma Kimber June 8, 1953 in the Manti LDS Temple. An educator. Taught school in Pleasant Grove, Mesquite, Nevada, Huntsville, Hinckley and Delta. Retired from Delta Middle School in 1993. Enjoyed traveling with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Devoted supporter of camp crafters and the scouting program. Loved farming, the outdoors, animals and photography. Had a sense of humor and could always tell a good story. Had a deep love the Gospel. Held many positions in the LDS church including a counselor in three Bishoprics. Served a mission at Cove Fort after retirement.

Survived by children Janet Farnsworth, Kathleen "Kathy" Farnsworth, LuAnne Farnsworth, Michael Kimber (Julie) Farnsworth, Neil Kimber (Sheri) Farnsworth and Owen Kimber (Rebecca) Farnsworth; 14 grandchildren; brothers Douglas G. Farnsworth and Robert G. Farnsworth; brother-in-law Ferrell Knight; sisters-in-law Arlene Farnsworth and Darlene Farnsworth. Predeceased by wife Norma on August 10, 1987, brothers Clair G. and Arlow G. Farnsworth and sisters Mary Alice Knight and Martha Ann Bell.
