Thomas Fogarty was born in Pottsville, PA the son of Bridget Wall and James Fogarty one of eleven children. He was a carpenter in Philadelphia. He lived with his mother in 1900. Sometime around 1903 he married Ellen Connell from port carbon,Pa. but in 1905 her and her infant son Thomas jr.died within 3 months of each other probably due to the delivery of the baby and other complications. Ellen died in 1905 along with her son and Thomas sr. died Ten years later in 1915.
