George Henry Kible, 82 years old, a retired farmer, died at his home near Bartlett, today following a long illness. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on July 12, 1859 and had resided in the Elgin area for seven years.
Besides the widow, Mrs. Nancy June Kible, survivors include a son, Ben Kible of South Elgin and seven daughters, Mrs. Cora Allison, and Mrs. Jennie Stewart, both of Elgin, Mrs. Bessie Murphy of South Elgin, Mrs. Ethel Winkler of Hillsboro, Ill, Mrs. Bertha Prichard of Girard, Ill, Mrs. Hazel Thompson of Springfield, Ill, and Mrs. Pearl Porkorski of Lincoln, Ill.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 from Conn Funeral home with the Rev. William H. Tope, pastor of Grace Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
