Local Woman Dies at Son's
Funeral Rites for Mrs. Elnora Sosbe to be Thursday

Mrs. Elnora Sosbe, age 81, died at the home of her son, Walter Sosbe 214 West Locust St., Monday evening. Death was due to senility and followed an illness of several weeks. She was born in Louden County, Tennessee, on December 14, 1864. She was married to Joshua M. Sosbe on January 25, 1879, and he died in 1910. She is the last of her family. Survivors include four sons, Walter of whose home she died, William Leslie, of Shelbyville, Carl Otto, of Indianapolis, and John Robert of Toledo, O., one daughter, Mrs. (Etta May) David Powell of this city. 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She had been a member of the First Methodist Church here for many years and was also a member of the Womens's Relief Corps. Funeral services will be held at the Morris H. Sleeth funeral home at 2:00 p.m m. Thursday with Dr. J. W. McFall officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sleeth mortuary after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
