Patricia (Pat) E. Gaquin of Whitman, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11th. She was 70 years old.
She was the daughter of the late John H. and Marguerite S. Gaquin, of Whitman.
Pat was raised in Whitman and was a 1970 graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional HS and a 1974 graduate of Bridgewater State with a degree in Elementary Education.
She worked most of her career with Sears with the exception of the last 10 years with Lowes, prior to retirement. She was an avid amateur Genealogist and loved to be outdoors gardening and watching the local wildlife. She was active on Find A Grave for 11 years before her death
She is survived by her 6 siblings, John H. Gaquin, Jr. and his wife Terry of W. Bridgewater, Kathaleen M. Ryan and her husband Douglas of Pembroke, Maureen E.O'Mara and her husband Kevin of Bridgewater, Donald J. Gaquin and his wife Kelly from WI, Suzanne M. Davenport and her husband James of Southwick and Michael J. Gaquin of Whitman.
Additionally, she is survived by her nieces and nephews and their spouses, John H. Gaquin, III, Paul O'Donnell, Danielle LaVigne, Maureen Traxel-Wright, Stephanie, Kyle and Alex Davenport, Miranda and Jillian Gaquin, Donald Ryan and Jessica Caffin. She also had many grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
Services will be private.
