Son of Thomas and Leona Pierpoint born March 8, 1863 in Wheeling, West Virginia.
He departed this life on Jan. 9 1936 at the Susan B. Allen Hospital in Eldorado Kansas at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 6 days. At the age of 5 he moved with his parents to Nodaway County, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Mary Emma Martin when he was 21 years old.
To this union born two daughters and two sons.

He was baptized in the Methodist Church.
He and his family moved to Riverton in 1898.
Mrs. Pierpoint passed away in August of 1904.
He was united 2nd in marriage to Grace Ashley Werstt
on Nov. 29, 1909.
They moved to Oil Hill, Kansas in 1929 where they resided until his death.
He leaves to mourn him - his widow, four children, a step daughter, Mrs. Vernie Hampton of Ava, Mo.
