JOHN LEVERN BRICKER, 73, of Duncan, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2006, in Duncan.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. Arrangements are under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
John was born Nov. 20, 1934, in Russell, Iowa, to George and Susan Johnson Bricker. He made his career with the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War.
He married Rita Steinke on July 18, 2002, in Killeen, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Steinke Bricker of the home; children, Branda Smith and fiance Robert Bussey of Comanche, Mark Meek of Houston, Texas, and John L. Bricker, Jr. of Texas; three brothers, Francis Bricker, George Bricker and Frank Bricker, all of Iowa; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, George Bricker.
Bearers will be members of the military.
