Worked for South Western Bell for 33 years in Topeka and Wichita offices, after retiring, she worked 5 yrs for McClains Conoco in Rossville as a clerk. Married Carl R. Searcy August 20, 1946. They had two children, son Carl Dean preceded in death in 1972. Survivors besides her husband, Carl of home, daughter Cynthia Miller and husband John of Garland, TX. and three grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services Rossville United Methodist Church February 20, 2008. Burial Westlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetary at Topeka.
