That was at least an unusual summer experienced by Mrs. Charles D. Zimmerman of the Los Angeles Cinema Club. From the time she left her home in Los Angeles until she returned she consumed practically three months.
She was accompanied by three of her four children. George is at Stanford and Susanne and Charles are at U.S.C. A third son [Robert] is a senior at John Burroughs High. As the three are active in their college work Mrs. Zimmerman planned a summer in which they could all be together.

CHILDREN are Margaret Sims (married but married name unknown), Wendy Sims (married but married name unknown), and Thomas Sims.

DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION DOCUMENTS submitted by unknown relative Edith L. Martin in 1981 shows descendency from Richard Lane born England 1740 settled first in Maryland then moved about 1808 to Ohio (probably Muskingum County) died Ohio 1811. Married Catherine Groom. Gen #2 son Dutton Lane born 1778 married Martha Pritchard (Feb 22 1790-Jan 26 1877) on Jan 3 1810. Gen #3 son Richard Lane (1813-Sep 26 Sep 26 1895) married Grace Sunderland (died June 3 1847) on July 16 1834. Gen #4 daughter Sarah Lane Zimmerman (March 8 1843-Aug 14 1922) married John H. Zimmerman (Dec 17 1819-Feb 20 1904) on Aug 17 1862. Richard Lane Private enlisted from Maryland by Lieut Nathaniel Kinnard J received and passed by William Henry July 22 1776. Children were: Dutton Lane married Martha Pritchard, Richard Lane died in Rev War, Samuel Lane, Jemima Lane married a Whipple, Nancy Lane married John Davis, Catherine Lane married P.C. Stedham.
