Hervey B. Walters , 59 y, of 124 South Washington Ave, died yesterday morning, July 7, 1935, in Muhlenberg Hospital, Plainfield. Mr. Walters had been ill since May. Born July 4, 1875 in High Bridge and lived there since eight years old and employed with CRR of New Jersey for 37 years. He was last employed as a freight agent.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Emma L. Apgar (Walters) and three sons; Leroy, William and Bertram Walters, two grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Arthur Vail of Dunellen.
Mr. Walters was member of Methodist Church of Dunellen, of William G. Holton Council, Jr. QUAM, of Washington Camp 98, POS of A.
Funeral tomorrow in late residence, with Rev. Reece R. Hill of Methodist Church in charge. The Rev. Homer W. Henderson, former pastor will assist. Burial Hillside Cemetery, S. Plainfield.
