Born December 23, 1917, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Anna A. Dowell Kober. She was the wife of the late Robert Armentrout.
She was retired from the Social Security Administration, Woodlawn. She had resided at Spencer Village, Eldersburg.
She is survived by son Edward R. Armentrout of Perry Hall; daughters Kathleen D. Held of Miami, Flor. and Joanne Boyce of Randallstown; sisters Virginia of Exter, N.H. and Ann of LaPlata; grandchildren Reid Windesheim, Ruth Sliviak and her husband Greg, Laura Higgins, Kevin Armentrout and his wife Melissa, and Lawrence and Shawn Held; great-grandchildren Sarah, Melissa, Lauren, Amanda, Lonny, Michael, Alex, Patrick, Eddie and Colin; and dear friend, William Reese.
She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Kober, and grandchildren Darla and William Armentrout.
A funeral liturgy was held Dec. 27 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Randallstown. Interment is in Lake View Memorial Park.
