Rites Today For W. J. McBurney
The Rev. Heber St. Clair Mahood, pastor of the First Congregational church, conducted the funeral service for William J. McBurney at the Chase mortuary at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Interment was in the Odd Fellows' cemetery.
He died in the Santa Cruz hospital following a sudden heart attack. Mr. McBurney had resided in this city for the past eight years, residing at 22 Caledonia street. He was a native of Iowa, 66 years of age. He is survived by his widow.
