Funeral services for Alma Seymour Arrington, 93, of North Hulin Avenue, Tignall, were held Monday, February 18, 2008, at the Mallorysville Baptist Church, Tignall, with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died Saturday, February 16, at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Arrington was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late James Omer Seymour and Lucy Ann Collins Seymour. She was the youngest of 12 children and was the widow of Willis Augustus Arrington. She was a retired seamstress and a member of the Mallorysville Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Ann Hilley and her husband David C. Hilley, of Tignall; two grandsons and their wives, David T. and Peggy Hilley, of Ocala, Fl. and Stacy E. and Amanda Hilley, of Commerce, Ga. and two great-grandchildren, Savannah Hilley and Owen Hilley.

Pallbearers included David T.(Davie)Hilley, Stacy Hilley, Jim Burton, Joe Hardy, Joe Burton, and Tony Hammond.

Honorary pallbearers included Howard Jordan, Otis Callaway, Gene Burton, Allen Burton, Bobby Wilson, Lawrence Burton, Carroll Burton, Ralph Denard, and Leon Aycock.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mexico Missions, c/o Mallorysville Baptist Church, Tignall, GA 30668.
