Predeceased in death by one son, Jimmy Ray Burchfield, one brother and four sisters. Survived by his wife, Nettie Cleo Burchfield, one son, Randy Burchfield; two sisters, Frances Collins and Sue Wilson. He was a Purple Heart veteran with three Bronze Stars and served his country honorably in the United States Army, 84th Field Artillery Division. He was retired from Reynolds Metal Co. after 32 years of service. Funeral services will be conducted at Pleasant Hill Church of Christ near Bismarck, Ark. on Thursday, August 14, 1997. Burial will be at the cemetery adjacent to the church. Arrangements are by Gross Funeral Home. Mr. Kelly Thomas will conduct services and Hollis Looper will arrange the music.
Pallbearers will be Roger Burchfield, Larry Burchfield, Mark Furr, Joe Lynch, Ronnie Looper. Joe Gwen Cates, Troy Sheets and Doyle Hughes.
