Frank Osborne was born in Philadelphia on March 22, 1935 and departed this life on Friday, January 15, 2005.

Frank was raised in Bristol Township and graduated from Delhaas High School in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army Airborne Division from 1954 to 1957 and was honorably discharges. He resided all of his life in the Bristol Township area.

Frank was a master of many trades, was a perfectionist in whatever he did. He was employed at General Motors, Trenton; U. S. Steel Mill, Fairless Hills; American Can, Morrisville; as a Butcher at Fort Dix; manager at Bucks County Housing Authority and self employed as a cook. He especially loved baking and was famous for his pound cakes.

Frank came to the Lord and united at Norton Avenue Baptist Church and later at Spotlight Holy Temple, Bristol.

He was a community activist who made his presence and opinions known throughout Bucks County. President of the Bloomsdale-Fleetwing Improvement Committee; membership in the Bucks County Opportunity Industrial Council (O.I.C.), Kingswood Betterment Society (K.B.S.I), and No Longer Bound, Bristol among others. He was a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan. Frank's greatest asset was his ability to communicate and debate with people from all walks of life.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Frances (Smothers) Osborne of Virginia, his former wife, Lannie Wheeler of Philadelphia; six children, Deborah Osborne of Raleigh, N.C.; Lenora Osborne of Philadelphia; Tammy Fobbs of Willingboro, N.J.; Kenneth, Sr., Ashley and Allen all of Levittown. Nine grandchildren, Maqueita and Rashad Eleazer, Takisha Fobbs, Malik Armond, Amirah Whitfield, Kenneth, Jr., Thomasine, Liah and Elijah Osborne. Three brothers, George of Virginia, Raymond (Cynthia), of New Jersey, Harry of Norristown. Four sisters, Gloria Funt (Junell) of Bristol, Sara Howard of Florida, Barbara Jackson (Larry) of Virginia, Brenda Berry of Levittown and Ida LaSalle, deceased. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and a long time companion, Vera Wilson.
