Eliza was born and raised in Fredericktown,Ohio.After the Rev Moses Maret Brown died she and her 2 sons Theodore and Chalmers moved back to Knox County Fredericktown,Ohio. March 25 1873 she married Charles Swan and out lived him..In later years she lived in Mt. Gilead,Ohio with her son Theodore Brown but she wanted to be buried by Moses and her baby daughter in Cumberland,Ohio
