Donald Dewey Bonifacius, 82, of Bremen, passed away at 12:40 am, Sunday, December 11, 2022 in Goshen Hospital.
Don was born on October 28, 1940 in Nappanee, the son of the late Elmer and Loie (Tener) Bonifacius.
Don is survived by his wife, Susan Bonifacius; two children, Julie (Terry) McCartney of Bremen and Jeff (Natalie) Bonifacius of Bremen;
step daughter, Laura Corwin of Edwardsburg, MI; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Sandy and three siblings; Sam, Bob, and Sandy.
Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1961.
Family was everything for Don and he loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkid and not missing their activities.
Don was employed at Universal Bearings for 40 years before retirement. He worked 17 years on the floor and 23 years as a supervisor.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and hiking with his family. Loved his motorcycles and spending time with his brother, Bob in California.
A time of gathering and sharing memories with the family will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, December 15, 2022 in Community Gospel Church, 68893 US 331, Bremen.
A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
Burial of his ashes will take place later in Woodlawn Cemetery.
