Dora Lee Fricks Fountain, 85, wife of the late Gerald D. Fountain of 52 years, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Friday, December 16, 2022, surrounded by family.

Born in Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Franklin and Azalea Mullikin Fricks. She retired from Milliken Cushman Mills of Williamston and was a member of Eastview Baptist Church in Pelzer, where she remained active until her illness. Throughout her life, she enjoyed singing and performed with a number of groups, church choirs, and traveling ensembles, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in song. Her heart was in volunteering, serving and caring for others through baking, a greeting card ministry, shut-in visitation programs, and Sunday School mission projects. The family wish to thank her New Hope Baptist Church family for the many years of support and ministry they had together. Her life revolved around faith, family, and friends with special attention provided to her two grandsons.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Reeves (Casey) of Pelzer and son, Tony Fountain of Lexington; grandchildren, Dakota Reeves of Piedmont and Evan Reeves of Pelzer; sisters, Eunice Bridges of Piedmont, Melvie Duncan (Larry) of Pelzer, Myrtle Phillips (Eddie) of Pelzer, and Patricia Knight of Williamston; brothers include David Fricks (Mary Jane) of Clarkston, MI, Wayne Fricks of Belton, and Billy Joe Fricks of Toccoa, GA; nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was predeceased by sisters, Vennie Davis, Elizabeth Bryson, Lily Fricks, and Mary Foster; and brothers-in-law, Frank Bridges, Charles Knight, Bobbie Davis, A.C. Bryson, and Donnie Foster.
