Mrs. Catherine Grape

Mrs. Catherine C. Grape, 88, of near Troutville, widow of Charles Grape and mother of William C. Grape of Kramer, died at her home at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Grape was born Aug. 27, 1868 in Clearfield County, near Troutville, the daughter of Henry and Mary Haag Weber. She was married in 1888 to Charles Grape who is deceased.

Grape is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary Shugarts and Mrs. Harry Kuntz of Troutville; Miss Effie Grape at home; and Mrs. Lairdon Korb, Akron, Ohio; a son, William C. of Kramer; 15 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren and one great-great granchild. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Jennie Arnold of DuBois.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm today (Thursday) in the William Mowrey Funeral Home in Big Run. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery in Troutville.
