Robert Edward Brittain, 64, of Lafayette, IN, died on December 12, 2022 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. He was born on November 12, 1958 in Frankfort, IN to Charles Edward and Elizabeth Jane (Crum) Brittain.
Robert was a 1977 graduate of Frankfort High School and attended Pima Medical Institute for phlebotomy. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served from 1977-2002. Robert worked in maintenance for apartment complexes in Tucson, AZ and had worked at Frito Lay for 8 years. Robert was a member of the American Legion. He loved to play horseshoes and the guitar.
Surviving are one daughter; one brother; one sister; and 11 grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joshua Edward Underhill Brittain; sister, Linda Henson; and two brothers, Pat and Jeffery Brittain.
No services are planned. Private burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
