"Mrs. McNeely died Monday, after a lengthy illness, in a hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. A lifelong resident of Smithland, she was a member of Smithland Methodist Church. She was a housewife. She is survived by her husband, Bailey McNeely, of Smithland; four sons, Dale McNeely, James Blair McNeely and Marion Larry McNeely, all of Smithland, and Charles Wendell McNeely, of Marshall; one daughter, Miss Gloria McNeely, of Smithland; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Marion Douglas Taylor, of Jefferson."
