Carol loved relaxing at the beach and tanning in the sun, no matter where. She also loved to travel around the USA. One noteworthy travel destination she visited internationally was Italy, where she experienced the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel in Rome. In addition, she visited Florence witnessing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and finally, St Mark's Basilica in Venice.
