Melba Allen Standing, age 87, beloved mom, grandma passed away February 15, 2008 of an age-related illness at the Woodland Park Care Center in East Millcreek, Utah. She was born December 25, 1920 in Logan, Utah to Reuben Franklin and Agnes Matilda Pope Allen. Married Lawrence Standing, he preceded her in death.




She is survived by her sons, Gordon in Salt Lake City and Ronald in Colorado; sister, Emajean Hansen in Midvale. Preceded in death by her husband.







A Viewing will be Friday, February 22, 2008, 11-12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd. Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m. at the Logan City Cemetery.
