Mrs. W. M. Tubb of Havana died last night at Druid City Hospital after an illness lasting about two days. She was 83 years old and had been a lifelong resident of Hale County. She was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are one son, N. M. Tubb of Havana, two daughters, Mrs. Sam Willingham of Mobile and Mrs. W. E. Tidmore of Tuscaloosa, one sister, Mrs. Nancy E. Smith of Akron. Also surviving are two brothers, Daniel and Richard Payne of Akron, 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were to be held at 4 o'clock standard time this afternoon from the Moundville Baptist church with interment in the Oak Hill Cemetery by Jones and Spigener.
