Rosetta Green, 84, of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday August 15, 2022 at the University of Louisville Hospital. Rosetta loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. She enjoyed her walks and loved cleaning. She loved having her hair and nails done, and wearing her blue jeans and high heel shoes. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Lynn Risinger; her parents, John Thomas & Effie Gladys Green; her siblings, Charles Walter, Donald & William Thomas Green, Mary Mudd, Marie Ware, and Emma Lawson. Rosetta is survived by three daughters, Connie Hall, Tanya Fluke, and Tammy Moreno; two sons, Kenneth Perry and Gregory Vincent Risinger; one brother, Douglas Green; a sister, Betty Fawbush; along with 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
