Verl Lee Lawson, 66, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Crawford; and two brothers, Larry & Paul Lawson. Verl is survived by his wife, Emma Lawson; one son, Verl Lawson Jr. (Marcy); two daughters, Lawonna Kay Lawson and Cathy Ryan (Bobby); three brothers, Gary Lawson, Andy & Randy Satterly; one sister, Janie Lawson; four grandchildren, Christopher & Christy Ryan, Courtney & Cody Lawson; and two great-grandchildren, Kendall & Adley Ryan. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday.
