Beloved husband of Marilyn A. Tinnell (nee Mort); loving father of Christina Tinnell, Amanda Tuholske, and Larry E. (Leslie) Tinnell Jr.; our dear PawPaw, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Larry was a man of many trades, with his proudest job being a police officer for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, where he received the Medal of Valor. He was also a Shriner and a Master Mason.
Mr. Tinnell served in the United States Navy as an Electrician's Mate from December 1, 1966, to January 7, 1969. He achieved the rank of EM-2, which is Petty Officer Second Class.

Interment with honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
