Hospital, Martinsburg, W. Va.,
where he had been a patient
since August 9th.
He was born in Creagerstown
on November 16. 1919 and was
a son of Mrs. Rachel D: Whitmore,
now residing on Motter
Avenue, and the late Oscar H.
Whitmore.
Surviving in addition
to his mother are the following
children, Larry Eugene, Eddie
Franklin, Linda Kaye and Mark
Steven Whitmore, all of Frederick,
two brothers, E. Eugene
Whitmore, near Creagerstown
and 0. Kenneth Whitmore, Frederick,
and several nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Whitmore was a Veteran
of World War II, having served
in the 467th Army Air Force
Base Unit at Hamilton Field,
California. He was a carpenter
by trade, a member of the Loyal Order
of Moose, Frederick Lodge, 371.
