Adenago married Disgusma in Hot Springs, Sierra County, New Mexico. They lived in Las Cruces NM, where their frst child Nora, was born. They later moved to Barstow, CA;where he worked and retired from the railroad. Adenago and Digusma had two children (Nora and Arnold Chavez). Digusma had two sons from a previous marriage (Teofilo ad Henry Lucero). Adenago loved and took them in as his own sons. Adenago was a very warm, humorous, loving man, always playing pranks with the little ones. The most memorable story about him was his taking off his prosthetic leg and standing it behind a curtain with the shoe showing and scaring everyone by pretending that there was someone hiding there.
Until this day, everyone still laughs about it. Survivors include he sons, Teofilo Lucero of Barstow, Henry Lucero of Fontana, and Arnold Chavez of Graham, Wash.; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road.
