COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 09/15/1986
Mrs. Paul O'Bryan, 88, formerly of 3832 Poplar Level Road, died Sunday [] at Treyton Oak Towers. She was the former Mary B. Carrico, a native of Owensboro and a member of the Forever Young Club. Survivors include nine sons, James V. O'Bryan of Cincinnati, W. Marshall O'Bryan of Los Angeles, P. Michael O'Bryan of Detroit, and Joseph P., R. Mensa, George E., Charles E., Thomas L. & Richard M. O'Bryan; three daughters, Sister Mary Celeste of Buffalo, NY, Theresa Foppiano and Mary Jo Schraffenberger; 32 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3926 Poplar Level Road, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be at Barrett Funeral Home, 1230 Bardstown Road, from 1-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Right to Life or Birthright.
