Ava Lou Kennedy, age 67, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.



She was a retired clerk for Dolly Madison in Elizabethtown where she had over 30 years of service, a caregiver to several family members, she loved cooking, sitting on her front porch drinking tea and spending time with her grandchildren.



Ava was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Kennedy and her parents, Woodruff Larimore and Birdie Louise Scott Larimore.



She is survived by a daughter, Toneav (T.J.) Heath of Hodgenville; a son, Randy (Shannon) Kennedy of Rineyville; seven grandchildren, Scarlett (Tyler) McCawley, Broxton Kennedy, Kennedy Heath, Hampton Kennedy, Waverly Kennedy, Payton Heath and Lane Heath; a great grandson, Logan McCawley; three brothers, Bobby (Doris) Larimore, Scotty (Miko) Larimore and David (Lorene) Larimore all of Hodgenville.



Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, December 31, at Dixon Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Darren Wolford officiating. Burial to follow in Hammonsville Cemetery.
