Adelbert Greene CADOTT
Adelbert H. Greene, 85, died Sunday at Luther Hospital. He was born in the town of Arthur, Chippewa County, and was a veteran of World War I.
He was the son of Adelbert "Dell" Franklin Green and Louise Mary (Hauptman) Green. He married Virginia Beider Nov. 25, 1939, in Cadott. They farmed in the town of Sigel, Chippewa County, until retiring in 1968.
Survivors include his wife: six sons. Everett. Howard, Franklin, David, Dennis, all of Cadott, and Randy, Chippewa Falls; four daughters, Emma Smith, Cadott, Patricia von Haden, Foster, De-bora Jackson, Stanley, and Bonnie Christie, Cornell; two brothers, Cordon and Roy, both of Cadott; two sisters, Cordelia Green, Augusta and Laura Emerson, Cadott; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Leiser Funeral Home. Cadott, with burial in Brooklawn Cemetery, Cadott.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and before Wednesday's services at the funeral home. There will be military services by the Cadott American Legion.
